The slick interior for Bank of China's new offices in the City of London feature 350 Bisley LateralFile™ storage units, configured to provide multifunctional storage as well as recycling facilities and printer stations.The 10,600 sq m workplace, located in the One Lothbury building close to the Bank of England, has been designed by Pringle Brandon to deliver a high quality working environment while also reflecting the banks enhanced stature. The building includes office and trading floors, as well as meeting rooms, staff restaurant and VIP suite.The Bisley LateralFile™ units were supplied in a special textured grey finish to match the Bene desk frames. The two-high units are placed four-in-a-row at the end of each desk run, topped with a white back-painted glass surface. Special recycling units feature custom-sized rectangular openings to accommodate plastic bottles, and also provide hidden cable management for printers placed on top.Bisley also supplied 350 pedestal units to the project, again finished in custom grey, plus a number of storage lockers for employees who cycle to work.
