Aberdeen City Council recently took occupancy of their iconic new headquarters in the city centre. The category A listed landmark, originally known as Marischal College is the 2nd Largest Granite building in the worldThe goal of the £68 million project was to create an environmentally sustainable landmark building as a focus for the Council’s drive to make Aberdeen the energy capital of Europe.The 1300 staff now occupy 174,000sqft over 4 floors within their headquarters and flexible storage solutions were required to house their existing file media with the ability to adapt to newer media in the future.
