Designed by Morgan Lovell, AeroTurbine UK headquarters becomes a perfect example of how Be by Bisleys unique features and versatility can work hard to meet the needs of every business.When AeroTurbine, one of the world’s largest suppliers of certified aircraft engines, parts and supply chain solutions, relocated its UK-based sales team to new offices in Farnborough Business Park, Hampshire, the key drivers were creating more space to accommodate growing staff numbers and providing a modern workplace which better reflected its corporate personality.While visitors to the new office are wowed by a large engine turbine fan in the reception area, it is the clever use of storage units to provide power and segment office space, which has proved the winning combination for staff. The team spends large amounts of the day on the phone supporting customers across Europe, Middle East and Africa, but they also have periods of intense concentration, which require a more private space.AeroTurbine chose Be by Bisley storage units and screens to stylishly divide up the open-plan working area and provide acoustic privacy to enable people to be at their most productive without disturbing their colleagues. The height of the screens enables staff to collaborate when necessary and have a clear line of sight to the beautifully-manicured gardens.It was also important for AeroTurbine to be able to customise the units and Be by Bisley offered that service, providing walnut finished units for individual offices. Power and data were also added to the surface of the storage units throughout the space, to enable the teams to quickly and easily charge mobile phones and plug in laptops.
