Clinical research business INC Research has five offices in the UK and more than 70 across six continents. When it decided to expand its office at the Meadows Business Park in Camberley, Surrey, it became the largest occupier of the stunning park in the convenient M3 corridor. The 38,000 sq ft facility accommodates increased staff numbers for the growing business, a more attractive place to work in this competitive market, a building which reflects INC’s corporate identity and a more secure space for staff to store both personal items and confidential client documents. INC Research chose Be by Bisley for its two, four and six-person workstations because the design allowed the company to maximise its floor space, provide easy access for all staff to client material and more space for personal items, reflect its corporate identity in the workspace and provide bespoke options where required. Bisley’s solution allowed INC to link the desk and storage units and therefore remove the need for an end leg frame which reduced both the footprint and the cost. Each desk includes a locker with a combination lock for personal items and an additional cupboard for files for that workstation or department. The cleverly-designed height of the storage units creates privacy between workstations. Creating a sense of corporate identity and belonging was also an important part of the refurbishment project. Be by Bisley reflected the company’s bold yellow logo in alternate workstations creating a fun but professional environment.
